Hey thanks for the warm welcome folks! Its so exciting to be on a messageboard.....believe it or not, its my first time participating in a MB. Really not Internet savvy at all! (But I think I am not the only one right? Heard Miss Paver doesn't have Internet access either)

Can't wait for Wolf Brother to be made into a movie....heard its in the works right? Any idea when that will be? Anyone? Hope it will be as successful as the Harry Potter movies....I can just see all the books being made into film!

To Bridle: Your question is not dumb at all! Most people outside South East Asia don't know where Singapore is.....I probably won't know either if I didn't live here....haha....Singapore is a little island in South East Asia, below Malaysia on the map. But some maps may not even show it!, cos we are such a tiny, tiny, tiny country....., but nevertherless, its a very interesting little island. Do hope you can visit it some day!

To BW: I havn't seen the anime yet, but I am half way through the manga (comic). Basically its about these 4 wolves Kiba, Tsume, Toboe and Hige, who live in an alternate universe where wolves are hated by humans and near extinction. To survive, they have adapted themselves to be able to transform into human form, and the story is about them searching for a legendary item known as the Lunar Flower that can supposedly lead them to Paradise. If you are in America, the comic is published by Vidz. Its only 2 volumes :smile:

To Rayn: Your name is cool too! I like how it sounds when spoken :heh: By the way, "Okami" means "Wolf" in Japanese (my signature is how wolf is written in Chinese and Japanese)

A friend of mine just moved over here, to the UK from Singapore, and she speaks with that funny american/australian accent! I often imitate it hehe, just as a joke ;)

Singapore's a nice country though. Do you know what the time difference between there and the UK is?

Hi ScarWolf, nice to hear that your friend is in Singapore. Yup, after you have been here for sometime, you will find that the people of Singapore speak a mixture of languages - we Singaporeans call it Singlish, which is a mix of Standard English, Mandarin, Mandarin dialects, Malay etc.... this is due to our multi-racial society I guess, but don't worry, the majority of us can speak and understand good English. So if you ever come here you won't feel lost! :smile:

P.S.: If I am not wrong, the time difference between UK and Singapore is about 12 hours.....not too good in geography I'm afraid....

Hey guys, I got a question, what is this joining a clan thing? I tried reading some of the messages under 'The Campfire' - 'Choose a Clan', but it only got me more confused! :confused:

Apparently I must send some e-mail to The Nanuak or something....in order to join? Can someone give me step-by-step procedure? Really an idiot when it comes to things like these.... :ohwell:

P.S.: I wanna be in Wolf Clan by the way..... :biggrin1:

To enter a clan, go to the "Choose Your Clan" thread in the Campfire, copy the form, fill it in and send it to The Nanuak. He will then sort you into a Clan when he gets the chance (it might be a few days). Be sure to put your preference of Clan in the email. There are only four Clans: White Fox, Wolf, Raven and Otter.

On the form, put "yes" by the answer you pick instead of putting it in bold because I don't think bold works on The Nanuak's email. You'll see what I mean...-_-
