So far i have drawn something but i went to scan it in.... and realised that my scanner is broken. dunno if i will get one before the end of august but hopefully i will. if i dont then i guess i lose ;-) If i do i will post the picture here. and if i do manage to get the picture onto my computer could somebody move this thread to the actual competition thread?

It is a wolf standing on a rock howling to the sky and behind him is forest (meant to be deep forest) with the silhouette of a person standing just at the edge. Im leaving it up to you to decide whether the person is Torak or someone from the deep forest watching which is why it's a silhouette. the trees arent too detailed, just some roughly drawn pines with a few others mixed in. the main detail is in the wolf.

Erm, you should post your entry in the art and writing competition thread. If you don't it probably wont get judged.

Have you got a digital camera? You could take a photo of it, and upload it that way.

Or you could send it to us via Snail Mail, if you're not sure you scanner will be working in time.

what is snail mail?

would i even get anything for winning because if not there isnt any point in going out to buy a scanner, i can wait until i actually need one and just put the drawing on my profile.

i lost the cable for my digital camera. i use my dads normally (we have the same camera) but im on holiday until august the 28th and he hasnt brought the cable. once we get back to england i will try that but still might not be able to because i will only have a few days of holiday before my school starts again. but i will try.

And no, we don't actually win prizes for these competitions. We can't exactly give out a prize for every competition every month. It's just a fun thing we have on the Clan, and it gives you a sense of pride when you win.

i didnt think you did. i was just checking because if you did win prizes i would try harder to get a scanner.
anyway, i drew it on lined paper (all my plain paper notebooks were finished) as more of a draft and then it turned out to be pretty good so i did it more properly. the trees and everything arent great but i generally suck at trees.
i will get some more plain paper and redo it on that and maybe then i will have a scanner.
