This is the first of my entries, I'll be entering another 2, because it's just so fun, and this might be the only art competition I can do. All entries are done with Adobe Photoshop 7.0. The background texture of each entry is different. If you can, post comments so that I can improve them.

Raven-Wolf Clan Map
This is a map of Torak's world with two spotlights shining on it (I know there were no spotlights then, but I thought it was a great effect). In the top right hand corner is the Mountain of the World Spirit, surrounded by clouds and lightning. On the left, you see where the wolf and raven clans are, as shown on the map in Soul Eater. Down south, you see the hills, the Deep Forest, and the High Mountains. The white patches are the ice rivers and the blue patch is Lake Axehead. And that's the First Tree right at the top.

UPDATED: Redrew First Tree and added Signature.

Forest-Sea-Ice
Three spotlights illuminating the Forest, Sea and Ice. In the Forest, there's someone running with a spear. In the Sea, there's some one in a skinboat and holding a net. In the Ice, there's someone on a sled.

The Raven Camp
A single spotlight right in the middle where the fire is. Tents surrounding the fire. On the right you see the river. That *points at brown part* is the wicker walkway where they spear the salmon. And that *points to grey part* are the four stepping stones where Torak was learning to balance.

...they're amazing! And the spotlight makes it look really cool. I love the way you did the map, and it's really accurate.

Thanks. I wasn't speechless when I saw your entry (aww, that's so mean), quite the opposite. My exact words were" Where the heck is that picture?" ^^

very very good but it was on the computer and personally I don't think it is amasing art by using tools on the computer but still amasing and am I allowed to do egyptian cave paintings?

It's true the tools on the computer makes things easier, but have you ever tried drawing on the computer? The cursor just refuses to go where you want it. You try to draw a slight curve and it gives you a straight line. It's still easier to draw by hand then scan it in. And no, the theme is a cave painting on the everyday life of CoAD. Go read the sticky. It explains it there.

Yeah, I tried drawing on the computer before and I soon gave up, it's so much easier doing it by hand. I think anyone who can produce good pieces of art on a computer are geniuses. Well done, 12am :)

Hmm, I voted the first one because I really like looking at maps and your one's more interesting than the ones in the books. But I like them all and it was really hard to decide.

It's the same for me too. It's so difficult to draw a curve or a slanting line. The computer just insists on keeping the line straight. I kept getting so irritated. If this weren't cave paintings, they would look awful.
