jerinkin lead his party up the hillside. they were hunting for a bear which kept on harassing his clan the walrus clan. they got to the top of the hill jerinkin crouched on the ground. the ground had been tronden and ripped up by a bear and by the looks of it a female it was fresh so they were getting close to there prey. jrerinkin looked behind and saw six of the bravest men he new. one was called ticorin who had a spear made of rose wood and a net made of whale gut. the other two men were twins named jison and linchon they were the archers for the hunt. the other three men were wygrl, dieon and sorf they held knives and throwing axes. allmen were in summer jerkens. jerinkin had a long knife made of green stone and a spear. the men had been hunting for two nights and they would be coming home at nightfall. jerinkin signalled to go down into the next valley so they all got up and went down the other side of the hill. at the bottom the trees had got thicker and the smell of rotten food hung in the air. all the men turned there heads in the direction of some movement then there was the crunch of sticks and a loud thump they had found the bear. jerinkin signaled for them to circle the bear and they obyed.after jerinkin was shaw that they were in position ha made a cawing sound which screeched around the forest the bear turned its head and looked straight at jerinkin then got up and and started running at him jerinkin shouted 'now' and jison and linchon jumped out and let loose there arrowsthey both made there mark in the back of the great beast it roared at the pain and turned around blood trikeld down his back it roared again as anothe found soft flesh ticorin appeared on the side and chucked his spear but it missed by a fingers width the bear saw him and ran for him ticorin tried to throw the net but the bear got him first that was when two axes flew in the air one got the leg the other got the neck it roared and fell back roaring in pain. jerinkin ran into the clearing were the bear was lying in pain twisting and roaring in the pain that was when jerinkin saw the cub it wasent even a month old it was scared hiding in a hole that it mother would have dug out. jerinkin felt a little compassion for the mother it lay dynig and soon the cub would die too without milk or food. he started walking to the bear and picked it up the mother saw and roared and got up and pounced on jerinkin moved so he and the cub died nowing there is no peace.
