Winter Art Competition Result - January Writing Begins

Happy New Year everyone!

First off I just want to thank everyone who entered - this month's worked much better than in previous attempts because people actually entered! We had so many entries, and at such a high standard, that it was tough to get to an agreement between the judges.

But there can only be one winner. Congratulations to GraywolvexxX! Your picture will be displayed in the fader shortly, and a link will be put on the front page. Well done!


Now, a new month a new competition. For the last two competitions we've tried something festive, so we're going to try going back to the essential story of CoAD and the cultures of it's people. This month you're going to have to write about a meeting/contest between a Sea Clan and a Forest Clan.

This theme isn't as vague as it has been previously, but don't be put off, I'm sure your creative minds can come up with something wonderful.

The deadline will again be the 26th and the winner will be announced on the 1st, but don't worry about that because I'll post a reminder the day before.

PS. GraywolvexxX, if possible could you post a bigger version of your picture. I don't know whether Nanuak's been able to make it fit the fader but I'd imagine to get a good result we'll need a bigger image.
