winter in the CoAD(cold?) world

This is my entry! I was planning to do it sooner, but it got delayed… anyhoooow, this is kind of more a back up for what I might do later on… comments are welcome! but it's my first entry, so not so hard please.

Oh my goodness! Wow I'd say... well I haven't seen the competition but you have a pretty good chance of winning! I love it! Well done it's so realistic, the polar bear is beautiful, it almost looks like a photo.

it was from a photo… too bad I couldn't take it myself, heh*
I did most of it with pencil, I tend to make it look thick (apparently) but the pencil is a normal one. And I did a tiny bit of water color over it to get the blueness of the snow, and the yellow-white fur of the bear.

it was on cheap paper, so it looks a bit wobbly… but my dad thought it looked better on screen.

Dude, that's crazy good! Again, how do you color like that? It's so frickin awesome! I wish I knew how to do that, but every time I've tried, I get so frustrated I scrap the thing cause kit looks SOOOO wrong. You gotta tell me how to do that!

I just love drawing so much, I'd bore myself to death if I didn't draw a wolf a day! but it's not just wolves, I CAN draw people - either in manga or real life. but the water color thing - I actually haven't done it that often, but I start by the shading, then make it a bit thicker, then do the lighter parts. I didn't know that till I borrowed a book from the library though :P
