Saunn shivered as she felt something. She sat down and made a fire, intent on finding out what was wrong.She made a simple concoction for sensing evil and threw it on the fire. The fire turned black and Saunn felt a pain like never before. She saw only black and she only felt pain. Then a light appeared in the blackness. Slowly it's power engulfed that of the darkness and the pain ebbed away. The light was so bright but it was not blinding or glary. A voice came from somewhere "I am the world spirit. The time has come for the first time ever that the otherworld is completely open. It has oppened many times before but not like this. The force that has come out will destroy all. No-one will survive."
"Can someone stop this" asked Saunn. The voice came again. "Only I have the power to do that and even for me to do it I must raech the centre of the otherworld, give the boy, Torak, this. From now on this is me. He must take it to the otherworld and stop this evil before it engulfs all."
The next morning after Saunn regained consiousness, she went to Torak and gave him the pebble that the world spirit had given her. That night Torak took off for the forest knowing that if he told Renn she would want to come with him. As for wolf, he hadn't been seen in a while. The only way down to the otherworld he knew about was in the cave where he'd found the stone tooth. When he got there he realised that the watchers weren't there. it was obvious what had happened. The watchers were dead.
Torak stepped in fear into the place no man was meant to set foot.The walls had veins of flames in them. He walked until he saw something. He wasn't sure what it was so he approached. He should have realised it was a demon. Quickly he drew a knife and stabbed at the demon which died. He knew to expect worse.
Torak found a few demons but most were in his world, no doubt nearing the clans by now. Then he saw a glowing orb on a pillar. In front of thje orb was another demon. usually he would have just stabbed it but that wouldn't work on this one. This was an elemental.
The elemental launched an unstoppable charge at him but he dodged aside. He knew the orb was the center of the otherworld. If he could just get close enough he could reach the orb. Suddenly something leapt at the demon and started attacking it. Torak realised in joy who it was. "Wolf" he cried before remembering that he had to reach the center. He ran towards it and quickly placed the pebble on the orb. Slowly the orb cracked and smashed. For a split second he felt the cave fill with evil before he himself was thrown out of it. The otherworld sealed up and Torak sighed in relief. He had sealed up the demons.
