After a small false start (we've got the bugs ironed out now!) the first ever Clan Championships have officially started!
Open to all members of the Clan, the Clan Championships takes the form of a fun, interactive quiz themed around the first book in the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series: Wolf Brother.
It’s very easy to take part – just log in to your profile on The Clan forum. On the forum menu bar you will see a button halfway across entitled ‘Quiz’. Click this to be taken to the Quiz page. From there, you will see a field marked ‘The Clan Championships Part I’. Just below this, click ‘Take Quiz’ and you’re away!
NOTE: It is very important that you know you can only take the quiz once. Some of the questions (the answers to which can be found only in Wolf Brother) are VERY hard. It’s really worth re-reading Book One again just to make sure you stand as good a chance as possible of doing well!
The Clan Championship is divided into three parts, each one of twenty questions. Each part of the Championship will have three winners and will run for just ten days – so you have three opportunities to win terrific prizes over the next month! Remember, you can only enter each part of the Championship once,

EmailLook out for a mention of Michelle and a competition to win her books in the latest issue of Watchword, the Wildlife Trusts’ junior magazine The Wildlife Trusts is the largest UK voluntary organisation dedicated to conserving the full range of the UK's habitats and species. Over 100,000 of the members are under 16 and belong to the junior branch, Wildlife Watch which offers you the chance to learn more about the environment, from joining up as a ‘nature detective’ to taking part in activities in your local area. As a member you get free issues of the magazine.
Michelle has also recently become involved with the Woodland Trust and will be working with them on their fantastic Tree For All campaign, aiming to plant 400,000 trees across the UK next year.
Both organisations offer great ways of getting involved with making a future for wildlife in Britain.

How would you like to interview Michelle and ask her all those questions – about the three books in the series so far and the three yet to come – that you’ve always wondered about?
Well now you can! We’re asking for Clan members to send in all the questions they’ve ever wondered about. And here’s something really special! If you want, you can send us an audio file (recording) of your questions which Michelle will answer personally – as a podcast! (you don’t have to have an iPod to listen to the podcast – any computer with a sound card will do).
Send your questions, either as text or as a sound file as an attachment, to nanuak[at]torak.info (replace the [at] with the @ sign). Please put QUESTIONS FOR MICHELLE in the subject line. All questions must be received by 31st October.

EmailThe Clan is in need of more logos for the Goodies you can get with Clan Pioneer points!
We need a nice, eye-catching logo that will fit well onto clothing, badges, and that manner of item.
It must include the address “www.torak.info”, probably around the side, as shown with the current logo in the Goodies section of the Clan. If you have an idea that it would be better if it stood out more, than you can make it that way, too. If the positioning of the address, or how a part of it looks, we may ask if you would be able to change it to fit our needs.
Post your logos in the thread entitled “Clan Logos” in the Clan Art forum.
