Big news today on the movie front: famed director Ridley Scott will produce the WOLF BROTHER film! Scott, the British-born director of classics like "Alien", "Blade Runner" and "Gladiator" said he was "thrilled" with the new project.
“Wolf Brother is an enchanting book" he said. "Michelle has created a world that we have never seen before in any previous film.”
Michelle is currently writing book two in the series, and US studio Fox has acquired film rights on behalf of Ridley Scott's production company for what will eventually be a six novel series. It is believed to be the largest book-to-film deal in Hollywood in the last six months.
Spirit Walker, the second book in the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series, will be published in in the this September. Today Michelle's spokesman said: "Michelle lives and breathes the worlds she writes about. I’ve told her about the film deal, but at the moment she is writing the second book and her mind is six thousand years away deep in the primeval forest." -
